As an authorized BERNINA Dealer, we are Colorado Springs' only independent authorized BERNINA Dealer and a Full-Service sewing center. We also offer sewing machine service.

All Bernina Sewing Machines purchased from our store come with our "LIFETIME OF LEARNING" program. We will teach and help you with your sewing machine no matter how long it takes. We have classes almost every week that you can join at no charge for hands-on help. All of the Bernina Mastery Classes are offered free of charge to anyone who purchases their sewing machine from High Country Quilts.

2024 Freehand Quilting... on your Longarm
Join Valerie, professional Longarm Quilter extraordinaire, as she teaches you some simple Free-hand quilting designs that will help you take your quilt to the next level! Freehand designs may be used as overalls, or to fill in spaces in custom quilts. This is a hands-on class; previous Longarm experience is required. This class is taught on the first Wednesday of each month.

This class is for all owners of BERNINA embroidery machines . Bring your machine, manual and all accessories. This class is for all current models of BERNINA sewing machines. For older models, call the shop to set up a personal appointment. (Class fee waived for machines purchased at HCQ)

2024 Quilting with BERNINA

Cost: $ 75

This class covers a variety of techniques used to quilt. Learn to master your BSR as well as some of the other feet Bernina offers.

2024 Patch Abilities Embroidery Class

Cost: $ 110

Block of the Month - 3 Classes Per Block - Registration is Done Quarterly. $75 per Quarter. You can sign up for One Quarter or all Four Quarters. We will be teaching this class on the Second Saturday of every month.
